The Guide is a floating AI chat panel that appears on every page of the platform. You can ask it questions about what you are studying and it will reply in Sinhala (සිංහල) or Tamil (தமிழ்), whichever you choose. It understands your context (which lesson, exercise, or page you are on) and suggests relevant topics to explore.

The assessment generates fresh AI questions across 6 skill areas (grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, speaking). It adapts in real time: if you get questions right, difficulty increases; if you struggle, it eases off. Early stopping detects your level once confidence is high. You can also skip the assessment and start at A1 if you prefer.

Iresha is your personal AI language tutor. Open Learn then Chat and message her in writing about anything: grammar questions, 'how do I say...', vocabulary, or just free conversation. She replies at your level and often slips in a mini-exercise to try, and answering it correctly earns XP. She remembers your conversation history, tracks the skill you are focusing on, and turns every mistake into a spaced-repetition review card. You can also tap 'Learn more', 'Explain simpler', or 'Quiz me' to go deeper or easier on any answer. The same teacher, Iresha, also powers the Live Voice Chat for spoken practice.

The Live Voice Teacher lets you have a real-time spoken conversation with Iresha, your AI teacher. You simply talk, and she replies out loud in natural speech the moment you pause, with no typing or buttons. Every reply is matched to your CEFR level, making it ideal for pronunciation and fluency practice. She can launch on-screen quizzes mid-conversation that award XP, and she remembers the session so you can pick up where you left off. Voice chat is included with Glossemera Pro (with a monthly fair-use minutes cap); free-tier learners get a short opt-in trial before upgrading.

Glossemera generates complete podcast episodes on demand with full dialogue between a host and guest, a readable transcript, and an audio player, all matched to your chosen genre and CEFR level. You can share your favorite podcasts to the Community Library for other learners to discover. To keep generation fair for everyone, each account can create up to 5 new podcasts per day (this resets daily), on every plan.

After you sign in, open Help then Documentation from the top menu for a plain-language guide to every feature: what your CEFR level and score mean, how XP and streaks work, and what each screen (Lessons, Practice, Podcasts, Progress, the Learning Map, and more) is for. On top of that, the Native Language Guide button on any page lets you ask questions about the exact screen you are on, answered in Sinhala or Tamil.
