Refund & Cancellation Policy

Glossemera ("we", "us", "the Service") is a digital, online language learning platform accessed at glossemera.com. We do not sell or ship any physical goods, so this policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for our digital subscriptions and add-ons.
1. Free trial
Every new account starts on a free trial that lasts 5 days from sign up and includes up to 100 AI requests. The trial requires no payment, so there is nothing to refund. You can evaluate the Service fully during the trial before deciding to pay.
2. Pro subscription
Pro is a paid plan priced at LKR 990 per month. It is a one-time payment that unlocks unlimited access for a fixed period (30 days per month purchased). It does not auto-renew, so no recurring charge is taken and there is no subscription to cancel for future billing. When the period ends, your account simply returns to the free tier until you choose to renew.
Because access to the AI features is delivered instantly and consumed as you use it, a Pro payment is generally non-refundable once the access period has started. We will, however, consider a refund in good faith if:
- You were charged in error or charged more than once for the same period.
- A technical fault on our side prevented you from using Pro for a sustained period and we were unable to resolve it after you reported it.
To request a refund under the above, contact us within 7 days of the payment at the email below, with your account email and the payment reference. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment gateway (PayHere) and may take several business days to appear.
3. Voice Teacher add-on
The optional Voice Teacher add-on is a one-time pass priced at LKR 990, valid for 30 days with a fair-use cap of 300 minutes per month. As it grants immediate real-time access, it is non-refundable once activated, except in the error or technical-fault cases described in section 2.
4. How to cancel
You can stop using the Service at any time. Since paid plans do not auto-renew, no cancellation action is needed to avoid future charges. You may also delete your account at any time from your Profile page, which permanently removes your data (see our Privacy Policy).
