1. The Service

Glossemera helps you learn languages with AI-generated lessons, exercises, a CEFR proficiency assessment, vocabulary tools, podcasts, and an AI teacher you can chat with by text and voice. The Service is digital and delivered online. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• You agree to provide accurate account details and to verify your email address.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems.
• Resell, redistribute, or share your account or the AI-generated content as your own commercial product.
• Submit content that is illegal, infringing, or designed to misuse the AI features.

4. Plans, pricing, and billing

• Free trial: new accounts include a free trial of 5 days and up to 100 AI requests at no charge.
• Pro: LKR 990 per month for unlimited access. Pro is a one-time payment that grants access for a fixed period (30 days per month purchased) and does not auto-renew.
• Voice Teacher add-on: an optional one-time pass of LKR 990, valid 30 days, with a fair-use cap of 300 minutes per month.
• Payments are processed securely by our payment gateway (PayHere). Prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and may change with notice on this site.

Refunds and cancellations are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. AI-generated content

Lessons, exercises, corrections, podcasts, and tutor responses are generated by AI and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. The Service is provided for learning and practice. It is not a certified or accredited language qualification, and it does not replace professional instruction. Please use your own judgement.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to Glossemera. You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process that content to operate and improve the Service. You may use AI-generated content for your personal learning.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms it or other users. You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time from your Profile page.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
